The aim of the Women’s Institute is to provide a democratically

controlled educational and social organisation for women,

offering quality of life in the community, and enabling them to

develop their own skills and talents.

Any woman is allowed to join the Women’s Institute.

Wherever you live, whatever your age, religion, culture,

interests or political views you can belong to the W.I.

Each institute usually meets once a month. However, there are

often other meetings held during the month to meet the needs

and interests of members, which may include outings, or classes

in art, craft, cookery or drama. Our Institute also has a darts group

and a 10 pin bowling group with teams in County competitions.

Some of these may be open meetings where friends and neighbours

are welcome.

Our monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each

month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, off Church Street.
